An utterly charming round kerosene lamp made of clear glass with beautiful etched flowers around the rim and fine brass details. Brass burner, one wick included. The light and warmth it gives off is so cosy. Rustic decor at its best! This kerosene lamp conveys a nostalgic feeling reminiscent of times gone by, while fitting perfectly into modern interior design environments. Extra wicks, glass and lamp oil are available for purchase.

NOTE When the lamp is not in use, IT MUST BE PLACED OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! If a child sucks on the wick or otherwise ingests lamp oil, call 112 immediately.

INSTRUCTIONS:
To fill with lamp oil and light the lamp:
The kerosene lamp must be extinguished and cold when refilling.
Remove the burner tube and unscrew the burner.
Fill with lamp oil, approx. 2/3 of the container. Use a funnel to minimise spillage.
Screw the burner back on and let the wick soak for 20-30 minutes so that it becomes wet.
Light the lamp and adjust the flame so that it is not too high by turning the wick up or down.
Replace the burner tube.
Note! The burner tube may need to be adjusted to ensure it is straight. Once the glass is straight, use the metal clips on the burner to stabilise it.
To extinguish the lamp:
Extinguish the kerosene lamp by blowing out the flame or turning down the wick.
Replacing the wick:
Pull out the old wick from below and insert the new one from below, turning it up to the correct height.
Things to remember:
When the lamp is lit, the burner tube is very hot. Place the lamp on a flat surface and away from flammable materials. Also leave at least 1 metre of space above the lamp.
The lamp is a primary light source and not a decoration. Keep the lamp under supervision and out of reach of children and pets. Lamp oil is very toxic if ingested. If swallowed, even in very small amounts, or by sucking on the wick, DO NOT induce vomiting. Contact the Poison Information Centre and a doctor.
